The AAJA-Chicago Trivia Bowl is an annual fun-filled event that pits sharp minds against each other for the right to know the most about nothing. The grand prize is bragging rights and a spot on a traveling trophy.
The event helps AAJA-Chicago raise money for its scholarships.
2011 winners: ChicagoNow
AAJA-Chicago’s 6th annual Trivia Bowl brought in 20 teams to compete for a spot on the traveling trophy. ChicagoNow was victorious – unseating Chicago Tribune. Special thanks to Jenner & Block for hosting in its 45th conference room that came with stunning views of the city.

Thank you to everyone who made our Fifth Annual Trivia Bowl a huge success! We had more than two dozen teams compete, making it our largest event ever! Special thanks to Sandy of Izakaya Hapa at 58 E. Ontario St. for the space and to Jeremy at Brain Sportz for being our quizmaster. The Chicago Tribune held on to its title for a second year. Generous host Harry Caray’s on 33 W. Kinzie St., Chicago helped make our fourth annual event a smashing success. The event drew 18 teams with the Chicago Tribune taking home top honors.

AAJA-Chicago held its third annual Trivia Bowl at Pho Viet, 4941 N. Broadway St. Chicago where 13 teams attempted, and failed, to snatch the crown from the Chicago Sun-Times.

ABC 7 welcomed the AAJA-Chicago Trivia Bowl to its State Street studios where the Chicago Sun-Times beat out 10 other teams to emerge the winner.
