High school students from around Chicago got a taste of broadcast, print and online journalism during a half-day skills workshop hosted at WLS-ABC 7′s State Street studio.

The inaugural class of J Camp Bootcamp
The event, hosted by Angie Lau of Bloomberg News and Gene Kang of WHAS-11 in Louisville, KY, featured a studio tour and instruction from professionals including:

- Lorene Yue, Crain’s Chicago Business
ABC anchors Stacey Baca and Kevin Roy along with ABC reporter Evelyn Holmes also imparted their wisdom to the students.
